SC Women in Leadership (SC WIL), a statewide multi-partisan organization, recently honored notable women who play major roles in the South Carolina government. SC WIL held their annual Leading Women Dinner on Sept. 26 in Columbia, South Carolina. At the dinner, women including the SC Ports President and CEO Barbara Melvin, South Carolina State Representative Heather Bauer and the only five female South Carolina State “Sister” Senators Penry Gustafson, Margie Bright Matthews, Mia McLeod, Sandy Senn, and Katrina Shealy were honored.
