The March 26 issue of The Chanticleer featured a column written by Senior Lecturer of English Sara Sobota, encouraging students to enroll in the ENGL*392/COMM*361 course next fall. Not only do we agree that you shouldn’t let this opportunity to get comfortable with professional journalism and magazine writing pass you by, but we have also compiled a list of our favorite professors and classes for you to consider upon class registration!
Mary Lopez teaches JOUR*200: Introduction to Journalism, a great beginner class to take for students who are interested in pursuing journalism or broadcasting. She has first-hand experience in the field of journalism and creating documentaries.
J.C. Abdallah is a communication professor and quantitative researcher who focuses on sports, media and their interaction. He teaches COMM*206, an introduction to sport communication. He is an extremely charismatic individual who loves teaching students about sports.
Adam Pitluk, no matter which class, plans each moment with intention and purpose. He’s there to keep it real with you on what it takes to make it professionally in the field, as well as keep you engaged and excited to learn more.
