Former Coastal Carolina men’s basketball player Nadjrick Peat faces 20 charges of sexual exploitation of minor.
The Horry County Sheriff’s Office charged Peat with six counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, eight counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and six counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Peat was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and unlawful dissemination of obscene material to a person under 18.
In March, Peat was arrested by the Conway Police Department along with former teammate Joshua Beadle. Both were charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
According to jail records, Peat was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on May 28 at 7:05 a.m. and was released at 2:56 p.m. on a $10,000 bond.
On May 21, a judge granted Peat a speedy trial. His trial date is scheduled for Sept. 14.
