Hello, everyone! My name is Zakiera Green, and I am a part of the News Reporting of the Chanticleer. I am a senior communication major with a minor in social media. Journalism is something that I am very interested in, it creates curiosity and it creates understandings. Journalism is not about reporting what happens, but it is about explaining what it is and why it matters and who does this effects. My favorite part about journalism is that it helps people to be seen, heard and understood rather than just the stereotypes and headlines. I am so excited to be a part of The Chanticleer news and share stories with my CCU family!
