Coastal Carolina University (CCU) will be closed tomorrow, Sept. 16, due to a potential tropical cyclone developing off the coast of South Carolina.
University Marketing and Communication sent a mass email to alert all current faculty, students and staff members. As a state agency, CCU must align with Horry County Government’s operational plans after the school district had switched to online operations for Monday.
CCU Emergency Management is currently monitoring the situation, according to the email.
