Coastal Carolina University announced all University Place (UP) and The Cove at UP residents would no longer be permitted to park on campus between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning on August 21. The announcement said any residents who park on campus during the allotted times will receive a parking citation. They attributed this change to the increasing parking demand and encouraged students to use the teal and white shuttle routes for transportation to and from campus. They said they have nearly doubled the transportation services for this reason.
