Best spots on campus for graduation photos

Graduation photos are timeless pieces that will sit on a family member’s mantle for years to come. So, you want to make sure your photos are taken in a great location.

Coastal Carolina University graduates are lucky because they are on a beautiful campus for great photo opportunities.

Here are some of them:

First things first, the fountains located around campus look great in the background of photos.

This includes the fountain in front of the Singleton-Young building, the fountain in front of Brooks Stadium and turtle pond behind the Wall College of Business.

To make your picture here a bit more colorful, throw your cap or do a champagne pop.

A second great photo location is in front of Atheneum Hall. Now, you may recognize this area because it’s where many sororities take their photos, and they do it here for a good reason. The background is beautiful for wide or tight shots. Plus, the lighting here is stellar.

Another great photo location is in front of the Chauncey statue

at Brooks Stadium. You can get right next to the statue in this photo, or you can take photos from a farther angle. After all, there’s no better memory of college than that of a picture right next to the best mascot.

The last great location for graduation photos is right in front of the college you graduated from! Whether it’s the Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts, Wall College of Business, Gupta College of Science, or another– there is a building to accompany it!

The most important thing to remember for great photos is to be happy! You are finally graduating, so be sure to let the pictures reflect that excitement.
