Tiffany Hollis

Tiffany Hollis is an assistant professor at the Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences.  

In addition to teaching, she advises for the Women of Color and Call Me Mister programs here at Coastal. Hollis grew up in Gaffney, South Carolina, and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Columbia College. She also received her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from UNC-Charlotte.  

She has a drive for diversity, equity, and social justice along with a strong belief in mentor figures for the youth. Hollis has expertise in mental health, trauma, helping students face these issues, and addressing their needs. Students at CCU have spoken about how important her role as a mentor has been for them.  

Hollis also enjoys spoken word poetry and engaging in creative arts like music and dance to interact with the youth she mentors. She has presented at and facilitated professional workshops for teachers nationally and internationally and is proud to be a part of the CCU community.
