Tom Brady’s career has been full of records, trophies, and other accolades, but he’s decided he’s not done yet with his announcement to return to the NFL for his 23rd season. Brady’s Instagram says, in reference to the Buccaneers and the city of Tampa, “We have unfinished business.” 

On Feb. 1, Brady originally made the decision to retire from playing professional football to spend more time with his family and focus on other business endeavors. However, on March 13, Brady announced via his social media accounts he still belonged on the field with his teammates.  

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had many question marks going into this offseason about what to do after Brady’s decision to retire. Now that he’s decided to come back, the team will look to re-sign players and bolster the roster through Free Agency with the goal of winning another Super Bowl. A few players who have already decided to come back are Center Ryan Jensen, WR Chris Godwin, CB Carlton Davis and Guard Aaron Stinnie.   

The Buccaneers became one of the favorites to win it all next season after Brady’s decision to return. He will be turning 45 years old in August and will look to win his eighth Super Bowl title.
