On behalf of The Chanticleer, we extend our congratulations to Coastal Carolina University (CCU) alumna Melissa Jefferson.
Jefferson, who was a standout on the women’s track and field team from 2020 to 2022, recently achieved two significant milestones at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. She earned a bronze medal in the women’s 100-meter and a gold medal in the 4×100-meter relay.
As current CCU students, watching Jefferson’s remarkable achievements has been both exciting and motivating. Her success represents not only her personal dedication and talent but also the pride of Coastal Carolina University.
We look forward to following Jefferson’s continued success and wish her the best in all her future endeavors.
