Several CCU alerts were sent to students and staff about police activity in Magnolia Hall on, Nov. 27. The University said in a statement Monday a CCU student passed away. They said there does not appear to be evidence of any threat to campus. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating the student death and the cause is pending per that investigation. The University says out of respect for the family, the student’s identity is not being released at this time.
