Changes made to CCU graduation ceremonies

Coastal Carolina University will only be holding two commencement ceremonies beginning in Spring 2022. There will no longer be a summer commencement. Ceremonies will only take place in fall and spring.

According to an email sent by the Office of the Registrar, a student must complete their degree requirements by the end of the spring semester or have no more than 15 credit hours to complete over the summer to participate in the May ceremony.

To participate in the December ceremony, students must complete degree requirements at the end of the fall semester. Students will still earn their degree at the end of the term, after completion of all course work.
