New interim dean, new college in development
The College of Health and Human Performance does not have its official name yet, but it does have a newly appointed interim dean.
In an email sent to faculty by Provost Daniel Ennis, it was announced that Colleen McGlone, a tenured professor at CCU, will become the temporary dean of the new health college. She has held multiple positions, such as department chair, academic director, and professor. McGlone also served in the U.S. Navy and was previously a coordinator for the Department of Veteran Affairs.
She also has a Ph.D. in sports administration from the University of New Mexico and has published research about hazing and organizational culture.
McGlone will take this role starting July 1, which is also when the name of the new college will be finalized.
