Online instruction will continue throughout Thursday, Jan. 23, according to University Marking and Communication.
Campus woke up to a white winter wonderland this morning– four to six inches of snow that began falling approximately at 6 p.m. Tuesday night to 6 a.m. today, Jan. 22.
Severe weather conditions are expected to last until 8 p.m., however roads are iced over and packed with snow.
CCU will send another emailed update to the community by 3 p.m. on Jan. 23 regarding campus operations for Friday.
The City of Conway, SC Facebook page urged residents to use caution if traveling on the roads is necessary.
“Due to anticipated hazardous road conditions caused by freezing overnight temperatures, the City of Conway is adjusting its services and facility operations for the safety of residents and employees,” the Facebook post said.
