Coastal Carolina University has redirected all classes online beginning at 4:00 p.m. Jan. 21 until the end of Wednesday, Jan. 22.
Multiple inches of snow and extremely low temperatures are expected. A winter storm warning has been in effect beginning Jan. 21 at 9:00 p.m. lasting to Jan. 22 at 8:00 a.m. in Conway, South Carolina.
The University Emergency Management has been closely monitoring the winter weather conditions.
A campuswide email was sent at 12:46 p.m. today, Jan. 21, by Jerry Rashid with Marketing and Communication announcing redirected classes.
Another email will be sent to the campus community by 2:30pm on Wednesday, Jan. 22. The follow-up email will provide updates concerning weather conditions and how CCU will handle winter weather conditions.
