Coastal Carolina University is set to host and compete in the 2024 Myrtle Beach Bowl against The University of Texas at San Antonio.
The Chanticleers are set to appear in their fifth consecutive bowl game on Dec. 23 at 11 a.m.
The teams, both holding 6-6 records, will compete against one another during a first-time match up. The UTSA Roadrunners enter the contest coming off a three-game winning streak in November.
The Chanticleers are returning to the teal turf following two losses against Marshall University and Georgia Southern University. The Chants then went on to win their last in season game 48-27 against Georgia State University on Nov. 30.
The Myrtle Beach Bowl is one of 17 college bowls held around the United States and streamed on ESPN. Last year’s bowl game was played by the University of Ohio and Georgia Southern University resulting in the Ohio Bobcats winning 41-21.
After ticket sales began on Dec. 8, only 14 sections remain available for purchase. Tickets for the Myrtle Beach Bowl are being sold for $30 with no discounts given to Coastal Carolina students.
